ALDI’s new distribution center in Loxley will be the company’s sixth distribution center in the South, and will help support ALDI’s continued growth in the region. By the end of 2022, ALDI plans to open up to 35 new stores in the Gulf Coast. The Loxley distribution center will help support up to 100 stores in the South, in states such as Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi and Florida.

“We’re incredibly proud to continue growing in all aspects of our business, from opening new stores to enhancing our eCommerce offerings, especially in light of the challenges businesses have faced in the last year. Our commitment to our shoppers, new and existing, is the same â€” we will do everything in our power to offer the lowest possible prices every day â€” and we look forward to supporting more communities across the country with amazing ALDI products at a value that can’t be matched.”

Jason Hart, CEO, ALDI U.S.

As one of the fastest-growing supermarkets in the country, ALDI is on track to become the third largest grocery retailer by the end of 2022. In fact, ALDI currently operates over 2,000 stores in 37 states. The new distribution center in Loxley will help ALDI continue to thrive in the South—in fact, ALDI plans to expand to Louisiana with the support of the Loxley facility.
