American Idol sets date for Alabama auditions: How you can sign up

Alabama has a long history with American Idol, including most recently have three performers reach the top 30 last season.
Some of the show’s biggest stars came from our state including Ruben Studdard, Taylor Hicks and Bo Bice. Now, the show is trying to find the next talent from Alabama.
Idol Across America has officially announced its date for Alabama auditions. Keep reading to learn more about the new season + how you can sign up.
Sign up to audition for American Idol
The first round will be done virtually via Zoom with Alabama artists asked to sign up for Sept. 23. You can fill out your application on the American Idol website.
To be eligible for the upcoming season, you must be born between June 2, 1997 and February 15, 2012. Make sure to read the full eligibility rules before signing up.
If you’re selected, you will then have a Zoom audition with an American Idol producer with a chance to advance to the televised audition round in front of the judges.
