Another Cook Out coming to Alabama. This time in Fort Payne
Reading time: 1 minute

Cook Out, the popular North Carolina-based burger joint, has bought property in Fort Payne.
Harbert Retail has brokered the $2 million sale of the former Hwy 55 restaurant property located at 1503 Glenn Blvd SW in Fort Payne to Cookout.
According to Harbert, the 0.99-acre property includes a 2,949-square-foot freestanding building with a high-capacity drive-thru and is positioned along Glenn Boulevard, Fort Payne’s primary retail corridor.
“This asset checked every box for Cook Out. Strong traffic, established retail synergy, and exceptional visibility with an existing drive-thru made this an ideal location for Cook Out’s entry into the Fort Payne market.”
Casey Howard of Harbert Retail
If they are successful in turning the former Hwy 55 site into a Cook Out restaurant, the location will be the 15th in the state of Alabama.
The first Cook Out opened in Tuscaloosa back in 2016. Last year, new locations launched in Gadsden and Mobile.
