Pre-game activities

Fans gathered for Tiger Walk on Donahue Drive to greet Golesh and the football team as they made their way into Jordan-Hare. The Coca-Cola Fan Fest outside Plainsman Park added to the program activity with inflatables, a DJ, food trucks and free schedule posters. By kick-off, the stadium was crowded with fans ready to get their first look at this year’s team.

On-field highlights

The A-Day format was a traditional four-quarter scrimmage with the offense in white and the defense in blue, using first downs, explosive plays, sacks and turnovers to decide the score. The offense finished ahead 66-43, but the defense held its own with a steady performance throughout the game and 5 turnovers.

Quarterback Tristan Ti’a stood out on offense, scoring once on a pass and once on a run. Running back Jeremiah Cobb had the longest run of the day, and receiver DeShawn Spencer made steady catches throughout the scrimmage. On defense, AnQuon Fegans led the team in tackles, and both Bryce Deas and Jared Smith had interceptions.

Overall, the scrimmage gave fans a clear look at where both sides of the team stand.

Post-game activities

Afterwards, fans were invited onto the Pat Dye Field for photos and autographs, giving them a chance to connect with the team up close and have their merchandise signed by Golesh and players.

A‑Day offered Auburn fans an early look at what’s to come in the fall and a chance to come together for a full day of fun. It was their first opportunity to see Alex Golesh and his staff in action, which built excitement and curiosity about what this new era could bring for Auburn football.
