This month has been an exciting one for the Auburn Family as they watched this project come to life. A formal dedication ceremony was held on August 21st as Auburn University President Jay Gogue, director of athletics Allen Greene, linebacker Owen Pappoe and more had the honor of shoveling ceremonial dirt to make this long-awaited dream become a reality! Greene thanked many donors and organizations such as Tigers Unlimited and Auburn administration and trustees. “We’re going to win championships…and this facility speaks to that,” Greene stated at the ceremony.

What does this mean for Auburn athletics?

This performance center will not only create a new home for Auburn’s student-athletes, but also allow their athletic department to strongly compete with other SEC schools. These athletes spend so much time in these walls, this is sure to create an amazing atmosphere for them to succeed. Not to mention how this will affect recruiting at Auburn University. This facility is crucial to inviting new recruits to the school, allowing Auburn to really step it up when it comes to recruiting.

Keep an eye out for the progress of Auburn’s new football performance center. You don’t want to miss out on this legendary development. War eagle, y’all!
