- Multiple indoor and outdoor gathering spaces
- 2 courtyards
- Updated office space
- Improved parking
- State-of-the-art technology and full ADA accessibility
- A warm, welcoming design to foster connection and collaboration
“This project represents an exciting new chapter for Auburn’s business community. Our members are growing, our initiatives are expanding, and this new home will give us the space and resources to continue bringing incredible opportunities to our community.”
Anna Hovey, Auburn Chamber President & CEO
The project is expected to break ground in late spring 2026. It was designed by SS&L Architects out of Montgomery and will be built by Bailey-Harris Construction Company out of Auburn. Construction is expected to take approximately 12 months.
The $3.5 million initiative supports both the new building and key program areas focused on business growth, workforce development, public policy, and young professional engagement.

Auburn Chamber
The Auburn Chamber of Commerce is a membership-based organization that provides resources and opportunities for both businesses and working professionals to connect and grow their businesses on The Plains.
The chamber said the need for a new building has been made clear in recent years. With the current facility limited by age and structural constraints, the new space is expected to provide the modern flexibility and capacity necessary to meet the needs of a growing membership and expanding programming.
“With expanded capacity, new collaborative environments, and enhanced programming capabilities, the Auburn Chamber & Community Business Center will ensure Auburn remains a place where businesses thrive, leaders connect, and future generations are inspired to build and lead. The project reinforces the Chamber’s commitment to advancing Auburn’s economy and serving as a partner, champion, and resource for the local business community.”
