Auburn reveals new format for annual A-Day event
Reading time: 2 minutes

An elimination of true spring games seems to be sweeping across the college football world and it has made its way down to The Plains.
Auburn will still hold its annual A-Day event but instead of a Blue vs. Orange game, the format will more resemble a spring practice with a focus on some fanfare.
It’s scheduled for April 12 and the practice will still be held at Jordan-Hare Stadium with free admission for fans.
Auburn Football A-Day
Here’s the schedule for the day:
- 9AM: Tiger Trail Induction Ceremony
- 11AM: Auburn alumni flag football game
- 12PM: A-Day Spring Practice
- 1:30PM: Fan Day + autograph session
Unlike previous years where a score was kept, this year’s A-Day will look more like a traditional practice. Fans will still get a first look at the highly-anticipated quarterback battle between 5-star freshman Deuce Knight and Oklahoma transfer Jackson Arnold.
The post-practice Fan Day autograph session featuring head coach Hugh Freeze and Auburn players will take place on the field and is scheduled to last 90 minutes. It will take the place of a Fan Day in August during fall camp.
Auburn Sports Network will carry the practice on the radio and Auburn Athletics App on A-Day. SEC Network+ will air a 30-minute all-access show with footage from spring practice and A-Day, set to debut later in April.
