Big Mikes Millbrook — The newest location is in Millbrook (Big Mike’s Steakhouse)

The popular Big Mike’s Steakhouse started in Thomasville in 2013 and continues to grow across the state in the last decade.

That growth continued this week as the restaurant opened its seventh location Wednesday afternoon. Here’s what you need to know about the new spot in Elmore County before your next visit:

Honor wall

The Millbrook location has worked on a special project before opening to honor veterans in the community and across the state.

“Big Mike’s is proud to be working on a special project that honors our Millbrook veterans who have served in the United States military – Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard. Inside the restaurant, a Wall of Honor is being assembled to recognize the brave men and women from our community who have answered the call to serve.”

The city helped collect photos from the community and put them on a main wall in the dining room of the restaurant. You can see a picture of the wall in the post below.

Big Mike’s in Alabama

While this is the seventh location to open in our state, an eighth spot is already in the works with a new restaurant expected to open this year in Bay Minette.
