BJ’s Wholesale Club is getting ready to expand its footprint in Alabama.
The company will be opening its second location in the state, this time opening closer to the coast in Foley. BJ’s opened its first Alabama store in Madison in 2023.
“This will be the first wholesale club in South Baldwin. This is a really significant addition for our citizens to not have to leave Foley… We were working with these folks for about three years to bring them to this market.”
Ralph Hellmich, Foley mayor
Officials believe construction could begin as early as September with the project taking roughly one year to complete.
