Missing kangaroo in Cullman County — captured!
Twitter was abuzz this Monday with the news of the escape and capture of a kangaroo in Cullman County.
The owner of the kangaroo, Eli Morton, told WAFF the “pet” went missing Sunday evening.
Several news outlets followed the story, including WAFF, the Cullman Daily and Lynden Blake, a sports reporter at WBRC.

The Cullman Daily offered a few suggestions on how to capture the mischievous marsupial, appropriately named Jackie Leggs. Those suggestions? Cheese puffs and PBR.
In fact, Blake posted a video of Jackie chomping down on the puffs.

Shortly after noon today, Jackie was found. The Cullman Daily posted a photo on their Facebook page of the happy reunion.
