Did you know that July 19 is National Daiquiri Day? Now even though this year’s daiquiri day falls on a Monday, let’s take a look at four places to get that daiquiri fix and make the most of a rainy day!

Wet Willie’s

  • 205 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL, 36602
  • Hours: Mon – Sat, 11am-12am; Sunday 12pm-12am
  • 251-217-2112 | Facebook

Wet Willie’s is a nationwide chain known for their amazing daiquiris! The Mobile location is right in the heart of downtown, perfect for bar-hopping to find even more delicious drinks. We recommend you try either a classic pina-colada or the “Willie’s Disco”, their signature daiquiri.

Flybar

We love Flybar because it’s local and has amazing outdoor seating options. It’s also in downtown Fairhope, so it’s quite the scenic outdoor dining experience. On top of their myriad of locally-brewed beer, you can indulge yourself this National Daiquiri Day with one of their wonderful daiquiris.

Island Time Daiquiris & Pizza at the Wharf

  • 4830 Wharf Parkway, Orange Beach, A, 36561
  • Hours: 11am-2am, daily
  • (251) 224-0265 | Facebook

Island Time is the perfect daiquiri stop for anyone looking for the beachy experience to go along with their drink. It’s on The Wharf in Orange Beach and just chock-full of the beachy vibe, all the way down to the cheerful and friendly bartenders. Plus, they’re doing fireworks shows on Mondays from 8:45-9:45 pm, so why not celebrate a Monday?

Dauphin Street Blues Co.

  • 568 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL, 36602
  • Hours: Mon-Thurs, 4pm-12am; Fri & Sat, 4pm-5am; closed on Sundays
  • (251) 725-6429 | Facebook

Dauphin Street Blues Co. (or DBC, as locals call it) is known for its daiquiris. Literally its entry on the Downtown Mobile Alliance page just says “Live music daiquiri bar.”, which is entirely true! They have awesome live music and even better daiquiris, not to mention the atmosphere is to die for! Their drinks are customizable too with daiquiri toppers, so be sure to make your drink your own.

We know a rainy Monday doesn’t feel like the best time to celebrate, so here’s our permission for you to let loose. After all, it is a national holiday!
