Chilton County Peach Festival Parade + Auction

The big event for the end of the week is scheduled to get started at 9AM Saturday. It’ll run through downtown Clanton.
Following the parade, the peach auction will be held at the Clanton First Baptist gym. Last year, the auction raised $81,000 from 33 peach baskets which was just shy of the record $84,400 set in 2023.
The top peach basket, which was selected by a panel of judges before the auction, was sold for $25,000 last year. Prize money is awarded to the top five baskets.
According to the Clanton Advertiser, last year’s funds were used to make donations to various charities in Chilton County and the State of Alabama, including the Alabama Lions Sight Program.
Peach Pageants
While Saturday’s events may draw the biggest crowd of the week, there has been plenty of excitement around every week night in Clanton.

So far, this year’s winners have included:
- Little Miss Peach: Everlie Harrison
- Young Miss Peach: Alivia Ellison
- Junior Miss Peach: Mary Henning Dale
- Miss Peach: June 26
