Coca-Cola UNITED unveils new $18M facility in Auburn

Today, June 4, Coca-Cola UNITED hosted the grand opening of a brand new facility in Auburn.

The project, which features a sales center, warehouse and office space, will distribute millions of Coke products annually through several communities in East Alabama.

Serving East Alabama communities

Located on approximately 15 acres of land off West Veterans Boulevard, this 24,000-square-foot facility will distribute products throughout:

  • Chambers County
  • Coosa County
  • Lee County
  • Macon County
  • Randolph County
  • Tallapoosa County

The $18M project has already made an impact in the local workforce, currently employing more than 70 employees.

According to Coca-Cola UNITED, this new facility is expected to produce 3 million cases of product annually.

Coca-Cola has served East Alabama for over a century beginning in 1902, with previous bottling operations in Alexander City, Opelika and Tuskegee. 

The establishment of a new facility more than a century since its inception in East Alabama marks a long investment in the Auburn community and its thriving economy.
