Conference battles highlight Week 9 in-state slate: Full schedule + how to watch

Alabama and Auburn are getting a break from playing ranked opponents this week but both teams will be challenged this week as they hit the road to continue SEC play.
But they aren’t the only two teams with big conference matchups at the midpoint of the regular season.
South Alabama gets things started Thursday night from Atlanta while the annual Magic City Classic highlights the state’s FCS slate this week.

Week 9 schedule
The 84th Magic City Classic kicks off Saturday afternoon at Legion Field as Alabama State tries to win its fourth straight game in the rivalry + stay in contention for the SWAC Championship Game.
Auburn is trying to avoid its first 0-5 start in SEC play since 2012, a year the Tigers finished 0-8 in the conference.
Meanwhile, Alabama is hoping for a victory lap ahead of its bye week after becoming the first team in SEC history to defeat four ranked teams in four consecutive weeks.
