CONFIRMED: Sperm whale carcass washes ashore in Fort Morgan

The Dauphin Island Sea Lab has confirmed a sperm whale carcass washed up along the shore in Fort Morgan, according to Mobile’s WKRG 5 News.

The beached whale was first noticed early Sunday morning near the Beach Club Resort & Spa in Fort Morgan.

Meteorologist James Spann has posted several times on social media updating his followers the status of the whale.
