Dothan will soon join the list of Alabama cities with a minor league soccer team, as the United Soccer League announced last fall that the city was awarded a USL League 2 franchise.

Now the new team has an official name and logo. The Dothan United Dragons will begin play in USL League Two in 2024, the inaugural season for the up-and-coming team.
