A new concert series is coming to Druid City Music Hall this fall, giving people an extra reason to head down to Tuscaloosa during football season.

“Kaleidoscope” will provide music fans several concert options across different genres from August through November and some big names are expected to fill the music venue on The Strip.

Keep reading to find out more about the concert series + what kind of acts you can expect to see take the stage later this year.

Kaleidoscope

Big Spring Entertainment is helping bring this new concert series to T-Town. The name Kaleidoscope was chosen to represent the wide range of genres that will be represented during the fourth-month span.

“We wanted to bring something new to Tuscaloosa. I spent time in Tuscaloosa and I wanted to bring something to the market, fitting the vibe of the market and benefitting young people.”

~ Josh Moore, Marketing Manager at Big Spring Entertainment

The venue is hoping to provide the big acts you may see at summer music festivals across the state but without having to pay a festival price.

While the shows will happen during the fall, the venue will not be competing with football season in Tuscaloosa. Druid City will still host watch parties on Saturdays with concerts happening on other days during the week.

Around 85 percent of the shows are booked and a full release of the series lineup is expected June 24. They are expecting to have around 20 shows in total be a part of the Kaleidoscope series.

In the meantime, Kaleidoscope is releasing some of its shows leading up to the big day.

Who you will see at Druid City Music Hall

Moore said they are catering toward the college town crowd, booking artists who are big with people between 16 and 25 years old. These include artists who are blowing up across social media platforms like TikTok + Instagram.

The first official concert announcement was made earlier this week as Alex Warren is set to make his Tuscaloosa debut on October 24. The California native has more than 15 million followers on TikTok and over 9 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Fans can expect two more announcements before the full release happens. Moore told us some of the artists coming to town have up to 20 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
