Do you recognize this band? They go by the name Eagles, and while the group doesn’t include all the original members anymore, there’s another band working hard to keep their legacy alive — Eagle Sunrise Band. So, what does this mean? Well, more music for Florence (YES!), and a trip back in time to rediscover one of the coolest bands there ever was.
History on Eagles Band
The Eagles were formed in 1971 in the “Entertainment Capital of the World”, Los Angeles. Original members of the band started with Glenn Frey, Bernie Leadon, Randy Meisner and Don Henley. Members who were added a little while later were Don Felder, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit. Some of their most notable songs are:
- “Hotel California” — Released in 1976
- “Take It Easy” — Released in 1972
- “Life in The Fast Lane” — Released in 1976
- “One of These Nights” — Released in 1975
Given that they became one of the greatest bands in America of all time, it’s inevitable that they collected all the awards they did. During their time, they received the following noteworthy awards (and more):
- 1978 — Grammy Award for Record of the Year
- 2000, 2003, 2008 — Grammy Hall of Fame
- 1980 — Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal
If this wasn’t enough to convince you that they truly are one of the Greatest Bands, then maybe this will: They are the 5th highest selling music act AND highest selling band in the U.S. In the 70s, there wasn’t a single band that sold more records than they did. WOW.
Eagle Sunrise Band Gives Tribute
Eagle Sunrise band has been at it for a while now. They’ve been remixing and mastering multiple covers of popular Eagles songs live and on youtube. They’re classified as a classic Rock band from Birmingham, Alabama, but they’ve been sharing their talents on various stages across Alabama and other cities in the South. What makes them so unique is the simple fact that they give music lovers a chance to re-experience one of the greatest bands in America, the Eagles. They’ve spent years perfecting their craft in order to precisely reenact all the tunes, melodies, harmonies and sounds that the Original Eagles band brought to us in the 70s. It will be a must-see production, and will have you feeling like you’re attending an exclusive, authentic Eagles concert.
