More than $8 million was poured into the Enterprise City Hall to upgrade the city’s facilities.
Community leaders came together as the city unveiled the upgrades Monday morning with a ribbon-cutting celebration.
This marked the first major renovation to the building since its opening in 1968. Work began in October 2023 with just under $8.5 million used to complete the project.
“City Hall is now more accessible, more welcoming, and better equipped to serve a growing community. Whether you’re here to pay a bill, apply for a business license, attend a court hearing, or meet with city staff, this space was designed with your experience in mind. We are, and always will be, the City of Progress.”

The renovated building has significant upgrades including:
- New electrical wiring
- New ater piping
- Lighting upgrades
- New HVAC system
Several office spaces around the building have been upgraded to create a “more citizen-friendly environment.”
The Enterprise Police Department will be stationed in the basement of City Hall. Other security upgrades for the building include:
- Reinforced entry points
- Storm-resistant glass
- Secure key-card access system
The city’s municipal court is also back at City Hall after being held at the Enterprise Civic Center for several years. A new courtroom has been included in the building’s upgrades, featuring a new personal storage system with secure lockers just outside the courtroom.
“To me, this building is more than brick and mortar. It is the heart of our city government. It is where decisions are made, business is conducted, and the heartbeat of what we do each day to serve you, our community, comes to life.”
Barry Mott, Enterprise City Engineer
