Going out with friends and family is awesome, but it can be hard to find fresh and fun entertainment. Luckily, Auburn and Opelika have a ton of exciting, yet casual options. This September is no exception when it comes to offering events that everyone can enjoy. Keep reading for four events that you’ll want to put on your calendar.

1. Rock N’ Roll Pinball open mic night

For a unique experience that makes you feel like you’re in a vibrant past, try Rock ‘N Roll Pinball’s open mic night. They are a pet-, family- and party-friendly establishment that provides over 30 vintage pinball machines in a bright and colorful atmosphere. They also offer 9 large TVs, a party room, a bar, arcade machines and a music venue.

For the 19-and-up crowd, Rock ‘N Roll Pinball holds open mic nights (performers must be 19 and up)—a great feature in Opelika’s night life. 

2. Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest, an annual autumn festival that originated in Munich, Germany, is celebrated with vigor in Auburn. This event first began in Auburn in 2008, and has grown to be one of the largest craft beer festivals in the Southeast. Locals and out-of-towners flock to this festival to enjoy craft beer, food, entertainment, competition, music and more. There is something for everyone!

3. Red Clay Brewery brains + brews trivia night

Red Clay Brewing Company is a brewery and taproom that emphasizes their Southern roots. They love community and welcome everyone to experience their unique set of skills they use to brew the best beer.

Their trivia night is a great chance to immerse yourself in a local feel while having competitive fun. Whether you want to party or relax, you can use your brain and enjoy a homemade brew at Red Clay’s trivia night.

4. Gear Gaming trivia night

If you’re a trivia lover and want to try a new venue, Gear Gaming is a unique and casual environment with tons of modern and vintage games. However, they offer more than just games. There is a bar available with many food and beverage options to enjoy while you indulge your competitive side. Trivia winners can expect to win some awesome prizes at this event.
