Faith Technologies announces $79M investment for Opelika facility

The former JoAnn Stores Distribution Center at the Northeast Opelika Industrial Park will soon be home to an advanced manufacturing facility.

Faith Technologies (FTI) is expanding its Alabama presence with a $79 million investment, transforming the former distribution center into a manufacturing facility. The move is expected to bring around 200 full-time jobs to the area.

The facility will be located on Anderson Road, just off Interstate 85 a few miles northeast of downtown Opelika.

Under its Excellerate brand, FTI provides modular solutions and electrical assemblies for a wide range of projects.

The Opelika location will add to the company’s expanding footprint across the country which includes facilities in:

  • Appleton, WI
  • Olathe, KS
  • El Paso, TX
  • Pittsboro, IN

The company specializes in building electrical components in controlled environments for jobsite installation. The goal is to enhance efficiency, improving quality and reducing labor hours.
