Fans line up for Survivor challenge at Dauphin Island
Reading time: 2 minutes

The 50th season premiere of the iconic Survivor show is set to air this week on CBS.
But before the experts show off their skills on national TV, some fans got to go hunting for an “idol” of their own on Alabama’s coast.
The show placed one “hidden immunity idol” in every state, dropping a clue last week for the location on where fans could find it. For Alabama, here was the clue:
“On an isle where battles were fought and storms did roar, yet nature endures on the shifting shore. Where pavement ends and dunes expand, you’ll find your next clue upon Dauphin’s sand.”
Of course, that immediately led fans to Dauphin Island where a short adventure was awaiting.

Fans flocked to the shores of Dauphin Island and once the idol was found, a line quickly formed to get a picture.
Once fans arrived at the idol, they could scan a code which would register them for the grand prize: a trip to watch the live series finale for Season 50.
The finale is currently scheduled for Wednesday, May 20. The season premieres this Wednesday.
