A movie starring legendary actor Robert De Niro and stand-up comedian, Sebastian Maniscalco will be filmed in Alabama over the next few weeks—Mobile, to be exact. According to a production company spokesperson, filming for the Lionsgate film “About My Father” will begin Monday, September 27th.

Inspired by Maniscalco’s life and relationship with his dad, the film follows Maniscalco as he tells his old-school Italian immigrant father Salvo (De Niro) that he is going to propose to his all-American girlfriend and Salvo insists on crashing a weekend with her parents.
