Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced that its newest hotel brand has confirmed locations coming to two cities—and one is in Alabama. Here’s what you need to know about Hyatt Studios, coming to Mobile.

Hyatt Studios in Mobile, Alabama—coming 2024

The new concept in Hyatt’s portfolio, Hyatt Studios, is described as an “upper-midscale extended-stay brand” (Hyatt Newsroom). Each Hyatt Studios will feature approximately 122 rooms.

The very first Hyatt Studios are coming to two cities: Mobile, Alabama, and Marysville, California.

Hyatt entered into a franchise agreement with 3H Group, Inc. for the first location in Mobile—more specifically, Tillman’s Corner.

But why Mobile? In Hyatt’s release, they described Mobile as a “rapidly expanding port city.”

“In addition to attracting tourism, the city boasts a diverse range of industries in manufacturing, aerospace and commercial retail, further enhancing its midscale appeal.”
