Five Below to open new location in Southern Alabama
Reading time: 2 minutes

Five Below, a specialty discount gift shop with more than 1,900 locations across the U.S., is expanding its Alabama footprint to Spanish Fort.
SRS Real Estate Partners announced the new location would move in to the space formerly occupied by Party City before the retailer closed most of its locations due to bankruptcy in late 2024 and early 2025.
According to Five Below’s website, there are currently 41 locations in Alabama.
The space is standalone and measures 12,750 square feet. It’s located near Stix and Marco’s Pizza in the same complex as larger retailers like Michael’s, Best Buy, Old Navy and Ross.
“Five Below’s commitment to Eastern Shore Plaza reflects the strength of the Spanish Fort retail market. They bring a unique value proposition that resonates with families and young shoppers alike, and we’re excited about the positive impact this store will have on the center’s continued growth.”
Martin Smith, SVP and Market Leader at SRS Real Estate Partners
The new Five Below location has an estimated opening date of January 2026.
