Reading time: 1 minute

Gadsden is on a roll.
Last month, the Northeast Alabama city announced it had attracted global auto supplier Minth Group Limited to invest and build a $430 million facility on the former Republic Steel site. Once completed, about 1,300 jobs will be created.
Last week, the community held a groundbreaking for a new pavilion at Nocculula Falls, one of the region’s largest tourist destinations.
Below are renderings of the new facility.

Other projects and accomplishments Gadsden has in the pipeline or achieved in the past year include:
- A new upgraded sports park
- Alabama’s newest Tree City
- Redevelopment of the former Gadsden High School property
- Construction of new Gadsden City Hall
- Construction of a new fire station
In addition to recent achievements, the publication World Atlas recently named the town a “hidden gem” for its natural beauty.
