Spring is upon us! At least here in the Port City, we’re seeing rainy days & tons of sunshine – which makes it the perfect time to start planning that spring garden. Lucky for you, we’ve rounded up some garden sales + resources to get you started.

Spring plant sales are a great way to get in-season plants to get your garden started. Here are a few free ones happening this month:

If you can’t make any of those plant sales, Mobile is home to some great brick-and-mortar plant shops and nurseries. These are my recommendations after living – and gardening – here for a few years.

If you are newly in your ‘gardening era’, you might want to consult with a Master Gardener. These are experienced gardeners with over 100 hours of training. They volunteer across the state to help people like you and me have the best gardens possible. In Coastal Alabama, the Master Gardeners in Mobile & Baldwin County are hosting series this March to help get your gardens in tip-top shape.
