Hoover approves $28M for new Stadium Trace Village expansion

The Hoover City Council approved Monday evening $28 million in tax incentives to expand the popular Stadium Trace Village development located on the corner of I-459 and John Hawkins Parkway off Exit 10.

The measure passed unanimously after an hour-and-a-half-long public hearing. 

According to Broad Metro, the developer of Stadium Trace Village, Phase II and Phase III of the expansion will provide the following amenities:

  • An  80,000 square foot healthcare campus that includes a ambulatory surgery center, imaging and diagnostic services, space to support physicians and healthcare providers 
  • Independent living, assisted living and memory care facilities for seniors 
  • Chasing Aces, a premier golf destination and community gathering entertainment center
  • Nature trails, boardwalks and greenspace

The developer and Hoover predict the development will generate 550 jobs and $50 million in annual sales.
