How to support a local nonprofit by buying your favorite Milo’s sauce

Have you ever wanted the luxury of having Milo’s sauces at your home? Well, you’re in luck because Milo’s Hamburgers is selling their popular sauces in bottles to give back to an Alabama nonprofit this holiday season.

A season of giving

For this holiday season, Milo’s wants to do something special for Alabama. Starting on Monday, November 15, this Birmingham based hamburger chain is selling bottles of its fan-favorite sauces. A part of the profits will be donated to Better Basics, a nonprofit to advance children’s literacy in Central Alabama.

What is Better Basics?

Better Basics works to help kids from birth to 12th grade in Central Alabama learn how to read and write and to become better students through its programs, including:

• Book nooks
• Community-wide read-alouds
• Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library
• Reading and mathematics intervention
• Summer STEAMER

Through our partnership with Milo’s, we will be able to empower more children in the Greater Birmingham community by providing additional support to students who need it most.”

• Honey mustard
• Milo’s signature sauce

Each bottle is $5, and $2 will be donated to Better Basics for each bottle bought. Are you a Milo’s fan and live outside of Alabama? Don’t worry, you can still get a bottle. Milo’s is partnering with Nourish Foods to ship bottles across the country. Each order will come with tasty recipes to make with the sauce.

Birmingham locals, lookout! On Monday, December 6, the Milo’s Burger Bus will be parked at Better Basics to sell lunch and bottles of sauce:
