When you hear the phrase “pumpkin spice latte,” you might first think about Starbucks. But as the drink’s popularity has grown, so has the availability of it at local coffee shops.

Tasting Table recently set out to find the best PSL in every state that’s not at a Starbucks. And Alabama’s selection is right here in the Rocket City.

The Moon Bakeshop has served a pumpkin spice latte for years under several different titles, most recently the “Here You Come Again” honoring Dolly Parton.

Here’s what Tasting Table had to say about the fall drink:

“The pumpkin spice latte at The Moon Bakeshop has gone by the names P.S. I Love You, Pumpkin Patch, and Autumn Glow in previous years, and it’s consistently recommended by locals and local publications. In fact, the drink — which is made with real pumpkin — has been known to stick around for the winter menu, due to its popularity. Pair it with a fall baked good, like pumpkin cruffins or pumpkin cheesecake.”
