Big news, Auburn folks! Jack Brown’s Beer and Burger Joint—already a Huntsville and Birmingham favorite—is coming to downtown Auburn. Keep reading for more details about the exciting new spot.
Farewell to Cheeburger Cheeburger
The new burger joint will take over the former location of Cheeburger Cheeburger, a beloved Auburn spot.
Don Doyle, Cheeburger Cheeburger’s owner, explained to us that increasing food and labor costs led him to need to move on to something in a different environment. We are sad to say goodbye to the Auburn restaurant and its burgers, onion rings and delicious milkshakes.
Good news—this isn’t the end for burgers at 160 North College Street…we are excited to welcome Jack Brown’s to town!
Welcome to Auburn, Jack Brown’s!
“Jack Brown’s is coming to Auburn in the former Cheeburger Cheeburger space at 160 N College Street. We should be open in early spring 2023. Pumped to be coming to Auburn.
We’re also opening a location in Tuscaloosa early next year at 403 23rd Ave. We’re excited for Jack Brown’s growth in Alabama!”Jason Owenby, Director of Operations, Jack Brown’s Beer & Burger Joint
Jack Brown’s has been named best burger in the state a few times. Their menu is simple—burgers, fries and beer. What better location for a place like this than in the heart of a college town?
The Jack Brown’s burger menu will feature fun burger variations including:
- The Elvis: peanut butter, bacon and cheese
- The Cowboy: barbecue sauce, bacon and cheese
- Greg Brady: house-made mac n’ cheese, American cheese and BBQ potato chips
- Classic Jack: caramelized onions, American cheese, house-made JB Sauce and thin-sliced dill pickles
