Join the University of South Alabama’s exciting homecoming events, Oct. 13-15

If you have been keeping up with the University of South Alabama’s football team, you will know how good of a season the Jaguars have had this year. Their 2022 homecoming game is against the University of Louisiana Monroe on Saturday, October 15 and the public can join the cheer. Here’s how you can support the Jags.

1. Concert featuring Flo Milli

If you’re looking to see a local fan favorite in concert, check out this notable headliner for the homecoming concert. Flo Milli, born and raised in Mobile, will be taking the stage with sounds by DJ Smooth & DJ Black, hosted by Comedian Tayboo.

• When: Thursday, October 13 | Doors open at 6PM, show starts at 7PM

• Price: $20 for USA students | $40 general public

2. Homecoming Bonfire & Pep Rally

Leading up to the big game day, come join the Jag family around the bonfire for their annual Homecoming pep rally—is there a better fall activity? There will be food, giveaways, an introduction of the homecoming court and a special appearance by USA football coach Kane Wommack and more.

• When: Friday, October 14 | 6-7:30PM
• Where: Intramural Fields
• Price: Free for all

3. 2022 NPHC Homecoming Step Show

After you get toasty warm at the bonfire, come out to support the NPHC chapters as they host the annual Homecoming Step Show. Several different fraternities and sororities under the NPHC will be participating in this upbeat and lively dance performance. Tickets can be bought in advance or at the door the night of.

• When: Friday, October 14 | 8PM
• Where: USA Mitchell Center
• Price: Tickets start at $20

4. The Prowl

Leading up to the big game, come out to attend the homecoming parade featuring the Jaguar Marching Band, cheerleaders, prowlers, football team and walking student organizations. This annual parade takes place a couple of hours before the kickoff and is open for all including faculty, staff, alumni, students and the general public.

• When: Saturday, October 15 | 3:45PM
• Where: The University of South Alabama campus
• Price: Free for all

5. The big game

It’s about that time! The Jags will be facing The University of Louisiana Monroe Warhawks at this year’s homecoming football game. With the Jaguars being 4-1 this season and the Warhawks being 2-4, this game will surely leave you on the edge of your seat. Be sure to come out Saturday and show your support the team and wear your Jag colors with pride.

• When: Saturday, October 15 | Gates open at 4:30PM, kickoff at 6PM
• Where: Hancock Whitney Stadium
