Kalen DeBoer denies interest in Penn State, says he’s ‘extremely happy at Alabama’
Reading time: 2 minutes

With just two days until the SEC Championship Game, Kalen DeBoer finally addressed the rumors swirling around the Penn State job.
Last month, reports came out that the Nittany Lions were interested in getting the coach to leave Tuscaloosa with a potential offer even being a possibility depending on the result of last week’s Iron Bowl.
However, when DeBoer was finally asked about those rumors Thursday, he made it pretty clear he’d like to remain the coach at Alabama.
“We’re extremely happy at Alabama. We’re extremely happy here, love the challenge, love the grind, love this place. There’s never been any link, there’s never been any conversation, there’s never been any interest either way. So I’m glad we can put that to bed right now.”

DeBoer is in his second season with the Crimson Tide, set to make his first SEC Championship Game appearance and hoping to make his first College Football Playoff appearance with the team.
