Kinley Rasmus’ bow enshrined at Little League Museum

The 2026 Little League Baseball World Series came to a close Sunday and while Phenix City did not leave with a trophy, the team from Alabama certainly left a mark that won’t soon be forgotten.
Star pitcher Kinley Rasmus had a record-breaking performance, leading her team to the quarterfinals and sparking “Fear the Bow” chants across Williamsport.
Now, that famous white bow has a new home at the World of Little League Museum.
‘Fear the Bow’ takes over Williamsport
Phenix City won three games, becoming one of the final eight teams at the Little League Baseball World Series. Kinley Rasmus was the team’s ace on the mound and one of the stars at the plate throughout the tournament.
In her team’s five games, Rasmus racked up:
- 10 2/3 innings pitched
- 2 wins as a pitcher
- 14 strikeouts (tied for most by a girl pitcher)
- 5 hits (most ever by a girl)
- First extra-base hit by a girl at the LLBWS
For all of those games, Rasmus sported a white bow in her hair. So when Little League asked teams for items to donate to the museum, it was an easy choice for Kinley and her family.
The bow Kinley wore during the first game of the tournament is in a temporary case which will be moved into a more permanent exhibit highlighting the 2026 tournament.

World of Little League Museum
The bow is currently in a section of the museum labeled “girls changed the game forever.”
It is the second thing from an Alabama team in the museum including an autographed ball from the 1999 Phenix City squad that won the U.S. Championship. Kinley’s dad, Cory, and her uncle, Colby, played on that team, and both went on to play major-league baseball.
