In 1800, Magnolia Springs was developed from a Spanish land grant. At the turn of the 20th century, the town’s natural spring water was called “the purest in the world” by several chemical companies in Chicago.

Soon after, it became a popular resort location with several small hotels.

The town name emerged from an appreciation for the springs + the abundance of aged magnolia trees growing in every residential garden. In 2006, Magnolia Springs was officially incorporated.

Today, many of Magnolia Springs’ roads are lined with a thick canopy of gorgeous oak trees, making for a scenic detour on the way to Gulf Shores’ beaches.

Jesse’s

What first began in 1922 as Moore Bros Store has blossomed into Jesse’s — a Magnolia Springs steakhouse + staple. The beloved restaurant prides itself on its quality dry + wet-aged steaks, bone-in cuts + fresh fish that is brought in daily.
