Miller Girvin named president of the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama

The Economic Development Partnership of Alabama has chosen its next president. The EDPA board of directors have chosen current EDPA chief operations office Miller Girvin to become the organization’s next leader, taking over for Greg Barker who will step down at the end of 2024.

Girvin, a Birmingham native, has previously served as the CEO of Alabama Capital Network and has been a key contributor to Innovate Alabama Commission setup by Governor Kay Ivey.

The EDPA is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing economic growth in Alabama, with initiatives such as the Alabama Launchpad and others designed to foster a strong business environment within the state.
