No Vets Left Behind, a Mobile-based nonprofit, is one of three finalists for a $25,000 grant from the Homes for Heroes Foundation.

And now the organization needs your help to win the Community Impact Award. Here’s what you need to know:

No Vets Left Behind, Inc is a charity founded by the team at Roosters Tacos & Tequila to honor the owners brother Lt Col Mark Stratton. It supports local organizations helping veterans facing homelessness, substance abuse and recovery challenges.

Each year, the organization brings community members together to raise funds for programs that help veterans rebuild stability, find support and move forward.

“Service doesn’t end with a discharge. For thousands of veterans, coming home means facing new, invisible battles — without a roof, without support, without a clear path forward. No Vets Left Behind was created in honor of Lt. Col. Mark Stratton to make sure those battles don’t go unfought. Every Memorial Day, we bring our community together to fund the local organizations walking alongside veterans through homelessness, addiction, and recovery — one life at a time.”
