The city of Mobile has been nominated as one of 20 cities nationwide for 2023’s Best Summer Travel Destinations in USA Today’s 10Best.com Readers’ Choice Award.

Selected by a panel of experts, each community is now seeking votes from USA Today readers for the honor.

Here is what they said about Alabama’s third largest city.

“Located on Alabama’s Gulf Coast, this port city has plenty for everyone to do, from the nearby Bellingrath Gardens and Battleship Memorial Park to art museums and airboat tours. Indulge your sweet tooth at Mo’Bay Beignet Co., learn about Mardi Gras at the Mobile Carnival Museum and take in local history by way of the Dora Franklin Finley African-American Heritage Trail.”
