Reading time: 1 minute

The Montgomery Regional Airport (MGM) has added a new nonstop flight to Houston.
Beginning April 7, 2026, United Express flights, operated by SkyWest Airline, will link MGM to Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH).
“This is a monumental milestone for Montgomery Regional Airport and our entire community. The addition of nonstop service to Houston represents more than just a new United Express flight—it’s a new gateway for business, tourism, and opportunity in our region.”
Loyd Jenkins, Interim Executive Director of Montgomery Regional Airport
Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport is the 15th busiest airport in the U.S. serving more than 22.2 million passengers annually.
The addition of a non-stop flight to a major hub like Houston helps connect travelers from Alabama’s capital city to endless connections worldwide. For more information or to book travel, visit www.flymgm.com.
