Montgomery movie lovers, this one’s for you. The annual Montgomery Film Festival, a community favorite since 2009, is back this November. Here’s what you need to know.
This year’s Montgomery Film Festival lineup
Each year, the Montgomery Film Festival draws huge crowds to the Capri Theatre to experience film in a local, unique way.
This year, their lineup includes full-length films, narrative and documentary shorts, experimental shorts and music videos. Here’s the schedule:
- Thursday, November 16
- 7PM—Hello Darkness (“Opening Night Film”)
- Friday, November 17
- 6:30PM—Alabama Shorts
- 8PM—Variant/Variant II (“Alabama Spotlight” film)
- Saturday, November 18
- 1:30PM—Black Uniform (“Alabama Premiere” film)
- 3:45PM—Narrative + Documentary Shorts
- 6PM—Don’t Die (“Alabama Centerpiece” film)
- 8PM—Suspiria (“Cult Classic Presentation”)
- 10PM—Music Videos + Experimental Shorts
