Get ready, Montgomery. A one-of-a-kind weekend is coming up soon, and there’s lots of reasons to celebrate it. Here’s what you need to know about the 2023 HBCU Classic, happening August 29-September 3.
2023 HBCU Classic in Montgomery—the football games
Montgomery is the only city in the entire nation to host two back-to-back HBCU showdown games in one weekend. These two games are the headliner of the HBCU Classic:
- ASU Labor Day Classic: Saturday, September 2, 5PM at Alabama State University—Alabama State University vs. Southern University
- Boeing Red Tails Classic: Sunday, September 3, 6PM at the Cramton Bowl—Tuskegee University vs. Fort Valley State University
But there’s a whole lot more to this exciting weekend.
