From blades to wheels
Since 1977, the center point of Montgomery’s Eastdale Mall was its ice skating rink. From weekend skate nights with friends to family outings and skating lessons, it was the place to be for locals of all ages.
But, according to the Montgomery Advertiser, as of Tuesday, December 6, kids and families will have a new spot to create memories—Roller Palace.
What to expect
Taking over the former 8,000 square-foot ice rink, Roller Palace features an intriguing shiny blue floor designed just for roller skates, new signage and decor. It also features 100 brand-new roller skates just waiting for you to strap on for hours of entertainment.
While a snack area with vending machines is in future plans, you can visit the mall’s food court nearby.
