Hoar Construction + Auburn University
Headed up by Hoar Construction as general contractor, Auburn’s new facility will feature:
- 265,000 square feet
- 3 stories
- 3 buildings
According to Connect CRE, the new complex will be located on the site of the recently-demolished Hill Residence Halls and has a targeted completion date of summer 2026. Goodwyn Mills Cawood & Lord Aeck Sargent will be the architects.
“The STEM+AG Complex will allow the university to replace a number of older STEM-related and agricultural science facilities no longer suitable for use as the university modernizes and upgrades facilities across its campus. The facility will provide future students and educators with state-of-the-art wet and dry research labs, principal investigator offices, collaborative spaces, shared lab support spaces, and instructional labs for the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Department of Geosciences, Department of Biological Sciences, Department of Crop, Soil, and Environmental Sciences, Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology, and Department of Horticulture.”
