New $50M tropical-inspired resort hotel coming to OWA

Thanks to a new investment from the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, a $50M resort is coming to Foley’s OWA Parks & Resort. Keep reading for all the details.
OWA’s newest addition
On the northeast side of Tropic Falls waterpark in OWA, visitors will soon be able to experience a tropical-inspired resort, coming May 2025

While the colorful resort is still in the design phase, here’s what’s expected to be a part of the $50M project:
- Tropical-themed guest rooms including a kitchenette + workspace (with optional bunk bed spaces for larger families)
- Outdoor resort-style pool with a bar + grill
- 24-hour fitness center
- Meeting space
- Lounge
- Convenience store
- Arcade
- Complimentary valet service
- Wifi
- Breakfast
This resort will bring the Poarch Band of Creek Indians’ investment in the OWA Parks & Resort to $414M.
Designing the project are architects from Dale Partners (based in Jackson, Mississippi) and Rabren General Contractors (based in Alabama) will be the general contractor for the resort.
