Get excited, Oneonta! A brand new place to have tons of fun with your family and friends is making its way to the city. Read on for details on the new development.
Fun is on the way
Oneonta City Council has recently approved the transfer of around 4 acres of land to Kingpins Bowling and Family Fun Center LLC, developer of the new entertainment center.
With bowling, an arcade and restaurant dining, you can easily spend a day full of entertainment and fun here. The project, now in its early stages, is anticipated to take approximately 10-12 months to complete once finalized.
“The City of Oneonta is excited about having the Bowling Alley, come to our community! It’s something that our residents have asked for, for many years, and we’re very happy to see it come to fruition. Not only will it provide a venue for entertainment for visitors and residents, it will also help to boost our local economy. As a city, we are currently doing our due diligence to make sure the owner and developer have what is necessary for the project to move forward. It’s an exciting time in Oneonta and we feel that this venture will be a strike!”Mayor Richard Phillips, City of Oneonta
Where will the project be located?
While we don’t have specific location details quite yet, the City of Oneonta says the development will be built just north of Walmart on the north side of the city.
Currently, KingPins only has two locations, one in Portland, Oregon and one in Beaverton, Oregon. We’re so happy to see that Oneonta will be next to secure one of these fun entertainment centers.
With lane-side food and beverage service, cosmic bowling, party spaces and more, this spot is sure to be a hit.
