Meet the faces behind the store

Raegan Mohon, Esha and Daniel Gardner have brought the store to Jacksonville. Esha, wife of Daniel Gardner, is originally from Waco, GA and Raegan is from Jacksonville with a little girl on the way.
Store manager Raegan Mohon spoke about why they chose a small town like Jacksonville.
“So we’re from the community, and they were looking for some land around and it landed them in Jacksonville. We all got close and that was all a dream and passion that lined up between the two of us and we thought, why not?”
Raegan Mohon, Store Manager
Business owners Esha and Daniel Gardner began planning Ember and Linen last year after Daniel’s heart surgery prompted him to step back from traveling for his construction business.
While on a business trip in Utah, the Gardners sat down in a coffee shop with Raegan Mohon and her husband Mason, who works for the construction company, to talk about what might come next.
During the conversation about dream careers, Mohon shared that she had always hoped to open her own clothing boutique — an idea that quickly sparked interest among the group.
Their dream coming to life

Mohon also talks about what makes their store unique.
“What sets us apart is we want everybody to come in and feel very welcome, very loved, not pressured to buy anything. Just come in and make connections, build relationships. But we have a range of sizes from small to 4x, and our permanent jewelry bar.”
Raegan Mohon, Store Manager
The name of the clothing store also reflects on the owners’ outlook on renewal and growth.
“Through trials and tribulations, we’ve learned that if you still have an ember left in you, a breath of life, then you still have purpose.”
Esha Gardner, Store Owner
