New coworking + event space opens in Gadsden
On Monday, December 4, the City of Gadsden and other Etowah County officials cut the ribbon on a new coworking space and event venue, The Venue2. Keep reading for all the details on how this space will fuel economic and small business development in Gadsden (plus why it’s called The Venue2).
About The Venue2 in Gadsden
The Venue2 is located in the same building as The Venue, one Gadsden’s newest multi-use rental facilities. Located on the banks of the Coosa River, it features 500,000 square feet of space for concerts, conventions, board meetings and celebrations.
In the same building was 7,000 square feet of unused space, which has now been transformed it into a hub for business development and entrepreneurship. Hence, the name—The Venue2.
With state-of-the-art meeting rooms, offices and spaces for collaboration, The Venue2 will be home to several small businesses and local organizations. Currently, they’re the new home of the Gadsden Etowah Industrial Development Authority (IDA).
