Some valuable new real estate is popping up in Huntsville this spring. Arcadia, a mixed-use development from Bobo Family Group and Retail Specialists, will provide both residential and retail space at 4810 Bradford Drive, just east of Cummings Research Park. Haden Smith, an Associate Broker at Retail Specialists, gave us a little more insight into what Huntsville locals can expect out of the project.
1. Space to live, work and play
The 19,000-square-foot development will feature:
- 12,000 square feet of office space
- 7,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space
- 251 residential units
2. Prime location
Smith said the project has been in the works for awhile, as Bobo Family Group has had the property under contract for several years. In 2021, when Bobo began focusing on the Arcadia project in earnest, they reached out to Retail Specialists to provide their expertise in commercial leasing and management.

Though Cummings Research Park is surrounded by retail spots like Bridge Street Town Center, Arcadia is unique because “this is the first time the mixed-use designation has been utilized in Research Park,” Smith said. “This will bring convenient retail amenities and residences within Research Park.”
