New Escapology location soon to be unlocked at the Eastern Shore Centre

This September, Spanish Fort’s Eastern Shore Centre will see the opening of a new business — an escape room center. The Escapology location, owned by former Mobile locals Jeff + Lisa Graham, will feature seven different escape rooms for visitors to choose from. With its location placed next to the Hallmark store in the shopping center, this addition to Spanish Fort’s entertainment options will be a welcome one.

Pick a room, any room

When Jeff + Lisa Graham first began dating, the couple went to different escape rooms on their dates. They first fell in love with the Scooby-Doo™ room at the Escapology in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.

“When we walked in there, their vibe, their games, the way everything was set up — we just really, really enjoyed it. So we were just like, ‘Yeah this is what we want. I wonder if they franchise.’ And that’s where we went from there.”

The Spanish Fort Escapology will feature seven different rooms, each varying in theme:

• Scooby-Doo™ + the Spooky Castle Adventure
• Haunted House
• Mansion Murder
• 7 Deadly Sins
• Antidote: Chemical Warfare
• A Pirate’s Curse
• Lost City

Guests will have up to 60 minutes to escape the room of their choice. Walk-ins are certainly accepted, however, if there is a particular room one would like to, it’s encouraged to reserve a time slot ahead of time on Escapology’s website. Owner Lisa Graham anticipates that the Scooby-Doo™ room will be the location’s most popular.

The new Escapology will also feature a room that can be rented out for events, complete with a screen for presentations. Additionally, a package deal will be available through which guests can arrange catering. The escape room location will arrange the catering with different local restaurants, set it up + handle the cleanup afterwards.

“We’re also going to have a party room — you can have birthday parties there, or if you’re a baseball or football team, you can do team building exercises there, or you could also have corporate events.”
