New experimental brewery pop-up coming to Mobile—Wingman
Reading time: 3 minutes
Seltzer- and sour-lovers, get excited. Fairhope Brewing Company is opening a new concept in Downtown Mobile, featuring their famous beers and experimental flavors. Welcome to Wingman.
Downtown Mobile will welcome Wingman in 2024
If you’re a fan of not-so-average ales, Wingman will be a dream. The new experimental pop-up tasting room will push the limits of flavored beers and seltzers.
Fairhope Brewing Company was inspired to open Wingman when their blueberry lemon sour ale (Blue Steel) and pink lemonade hard seltzer (Pink Delicious) flavors took off.
“We want to take what we’ve learned and try something new, with a fresh concept focused on innovative and interesting beverages.
Over the past couple of years, we have broadened our offerings to include particularly bold and original flavors, and those styles have been received exceptionally well.”
Jacob Sellers, head brewer, Fairhope Brewing Company
Wingman will be a place for locals and visitors alike to experience one-of-a-kind beer and seltzers before they hit the market.
“We only have so many taps in Fairhope, and with all of the styles that Jacob is putting out there, a secondary experimental location will be perfect for us.
The Wingman will be the place for us to try out new things and introduce options that can’t be found anywhere else. This interactive model will allow us to gather feedback from our guests. When our patrons get enthusiastic about a particular offering, we will consider putting it into larger-scale distribution.”
Jim Foley, managing partner, Fairhope Brewing Company

About Fairhope Brewing Company
For 10 years, Fairhope Brewing Company has been serving lower Alabama with creative, locally-crafted and high-quality beer. Five craft beer lovers (Michele and Brian Kane, Dan Murphy, Gabe Harris and Jim Foley) came together to start brewing in 2012, and soon brought their creations to Fairhope.
Since then, Fairhope Brewing Company has grown tremendously, with 14 beers and a cider always on tap at their location and their beers all over the state and beyond into Missisippi and Florida.
With their new adventure, Wingman, they’ll be creating even more creative brews to enjoy.
